Alas, I wasn’t able to attend. I had a ride there, but scheduling problems got in the way; therefore, I chose to sit it out than cause others to be delayed from arriving on time.
So far estimates vary from 5000-6000 to as many as 14,000+. One thing’s certain, the very issues which back in the 90s would’ve seen a protest of only a few hundred now brings thousands to D.C. from all over the country despite the cost in gas. And I would estimate that hundreds of thousands if not millions listened to and watched it at various internet sources (like Revolution Radio and Break the Matrix) all day long. I know I was one.
Here’s a very important part of Naomi wolf’s speech at the event:
More stuff to come as I receive them. And, of course, the Revolution continues.
Try as they might, THEY CAN’T STOP THE SIGNAL!!!!!WOOT!!!!
Fellow Patriots. The New World Order is trembling in their boots. We are making an impact.
This revolution is more than just about Ron Paul. It’s about all of us. It’s about our rights, our freedoms, and The Constitution of These United States of America. Whether you’re for Ron Paul or not never mattered. What matters now is that we come together under the ideals in his message, the same message the Founders, themselves, had. We Paulites can’t do it all on our own (although we’ll certainly make the attempt if we have to). We need the help and support of all our fellow Patriots, regardless of what “side” of the political “fence” you’re on. Because what matters to us is also what matters to you.
